Things to Do and Groups to be a part of!
“After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church.” –Ephesians 5:29
We, the members of the Yorkville United Methodist Church, are very committed to our church. This is evidenced by the time we devote to our church family. We are very much involved. We are active in social activities and we participate in organizations and committees/teams. Take a tour with us as we share with you what it truly means to be a “Yorkville United Methodist!”
Have We Got a Group for You!
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of the bread and to prayer.” –Acts 2:42
Members of the Yorkville United Methodist Church are committed to Christianity beyond the “one-hour” of service on Sunday morning! While the Sunday morning worship is an extremely important component of our “Christian Lifestyle,” our YUMC experience goes well beyond. This is evidenced by the numerous Fellowship opportunities that are available. There is a group available for all ages!
